The Cambodian genocide was not conventional; more of a super killing field, reminiscent of Robespierre’s terror campaign during the French Revolution?

Did the Cambodian genocide even happen? Chomsky and Herman – among the very few to investigate it – say 'no'.

I suspect it was a cover story to distract from the real Cambodian genocide – the horrific bombing by the USA.

In effect, I say that, but it doesn't mean there was not a horrific tragedy. All calamaties, human and natural, even earthquakes and hurricane damage have their detractors who present contrary evidence. In this case, it does not matter; I wasn't examiing the Cambodian violence, I was just using references to several accepted (and the word is acepted) genocides to describe how the Palestinian genocide differs and what that difference means to the world.

Thank you again for an excellent analysis. Just as we have optimism for the world then we look at the realities that there is never justice for the poor and oppressed. The greed for power is slowly destroying humanity. May God help us if there is a God!
