Right of return does not apply to Isreal. Religion does not equate to historical claim. Isreal is a creation and colony of West. This is setting a dangerous precedent because Isreal's existence is dependent on the West. As the West declines, Isreal's existence may go with it. We are looking at another South Africa in the Middle East.

Hope you are correct, or at least others see it as you see it.

The world sees it, and they see the West propping Isreal up. The US military is the only thing keeping Isreal viable.

Dan,

Your articles resonate with me, and I have reduced my writing. You write for me. I once had a slogan on my blog: https://israel-palestine-dialogue.blogspot.com/ "Security for Israel and Justice for the Palestinians; one will not happen without the other."

The leaders of Israel continue to make misguided decisions. The security of Jews should mean that any Jew, anywhere in the world, should be able to move without apprehension or fear. Someone should hold these rogue leaders accountable—whether they are alive or deceased—for failing to secure safety for ordinary Jews.

Israel's security is often misassessed. It should not come at the cost of Israelis becoming ruthless, rogue, or murderous people as the entire world sees them, except the American politicians and right-wing Jews. Instead, they should strive to be civilized citizens who respect international law.

Many intellectuals share your perspective, and I hope that more of you will write and bring clarity to the short-sighted leaders. We must refocus on the security of Jews, without terrorizing the Palestinians.

Seems obvious, but the world is not reacting. What more must we do to ignite the needed fervor?
